Monica to most, Nicki to some.

Childhood: New York, a blip in Bavaria, many years in Litchfield county, Connecticut

Adulthood: Hawaii, California, Colorado, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Maine before finally settling in the Berkshires, Massachusetts

I love traveling abroad to see how different cultures eat, stay healthy, and go about their daily lives. Sometimes I take photos.

Monica (Nicki) Bossinger

I translate microbiome science into clear, engaging content that makes complex research accessible. From stress and digestion to sleep and immunity, I connect the geeky side of science to what people actually care about.

Connection is the fuel for every piece I write, and it's the throughline across my articles and case studies. Inspired from that place, I support people on their path to better health.

Always curious about the microbiome's role in healthy living, I show people what's possible when they follow the facts, not the hype.

At Tiny Health, I lead the blog channel, writing and editing articles and case studies, driving SEO initiatives, and managing freelancers.

Before specializing in microbiome health, I spent two decades in wellness storytelling — from editorial roles at Amazon/Quidsi to brand content for Dr. Kellyanne, Dr. Newton's Naturals, and Nature MD.

I've been a health advocate from a young age. Watching my little sister struggle with an eating disorder, and being unable to help, is why I do what I do today.
